I graduated from Miami Dade College with my ADN in December 2023. After being out of school for many years, I decided to pursue a shift in my career and go from veterinary nursing to becoming an RN. Being caring and nurturing, as well as having the curiosity for wanting to know “why?”, have always been a part of who I am. Seeking my BSN was a no brainer for me, because I do plan to move on to become an NP in the future. Although I have not been an RN for very long, my hope is to be the nurse that everyone remembers in the best way possible. In my current position as a veterinary nurse, I have had more than 18 years of experience forming relationships with both my animal patients and their humans. I take pride in finding it natural to talk to the people in my community and help educate them to better understand their pet’s needs. I look forward to soon finding my new work family and making a positive impact in my community.
